Revtangen Bird Observatory was established in 1937, and is run by Museum Stavanger. Main focus is ringing of passerines with mist nets in our trapping garden, and waders with walk-in traps at Revtangen. The bird observatory is open to visitors. On this blog you can read news from the station, mostly about birds but also about insects. You will often find comments about how to age the species that are trapped for ringing.
