Strong SE, 10-12 m/s, too strong for most nets. Kept the ones in the middle of the trapping garden open 07.30-15, netmeter hours approx. 800. Playback on Common Blackbird around dawn and Yellowhammer later.
Ringed: Winter Wren 3, Dunnock 1, European Robin 3, Song Thrush 1, Redwing 6, Common Blackbird 6, Blackcap 5, Garden Warbler 1, Chiffchaff 1, Goldcrest 3, Blue Tit 2, Long-tailed Tit 7, Brambling 1, Mealy Redpoll 2, Yellowhammer 7. Total = 49. Also 6 controls.
Observations: Common Snipe 40, Jack Snipe 5 (field west if the station).
