Revtangen BO September 16th

Nets open 06-14, netmeter hours approx. 2900. Playback on Garden Warbler and Pallas' Grasshopper Warbler at night, European Robin at dawn, and Grey Wagtail, Olive-backed Pipit and Meadow Pipit during the day (only one hours with playback on Meadow Pipit). 

Ringed: Water Rail 1, Great Spotted Woodpecker 7, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker 1, Grey Wagtail 9, Meadow Pipit 30, Winter Wren 6, Dunnock 1, European Robin 5, Song Thrush 3, Redwing 2, Grasshopper Warbler 2, Reed Warbler 1, Garden Warbler 6, Blackcap 13, Common Whitethroat 1, Willow Warbler 4, Chiffchaff 2, Goldcrest 6, Coal Tit 5, Great Tit 1, Willow Tit 2, Eurasian Nuthatch 3, Treecreeper 1, Chaffinch 4, Brambling 3, Greenfinch 5, Yellowhammer 1. Total = 125. Alsoi 9 controls, including Greenfinch and Chiffchaff not from Revtangen. 

Ringmerket: Vannrikse 1, flaggspett 7, dvergspett 1, vintererle 9, heipiplerke 30, gjerdesmett 6, jernspurv 1, rødstrupe 5, måltrost 3, rødvingetrost 2, gresshoppesanger 2, rørsanger 1, hagesanger 6, munk 13, tornsanger 1, løvsanger 4, gransanger 2, fuglekonge 6, svartmeis 5, kjøttmeis 1, spettmeis 3, trekryper 1, bokfink 4, bjørkefink 3, grønnfink 5, gulspurv. 1. Total = 125. Også 9 kontroller, inkl. gransanger og grønnfink merket annetsteds.

The first Water Rail this season was trapped today. As usual, a 1cy.  Vannrikse 1K.
Lesser Spotted Woodpecker male. Dvergspett hann.
