Revtangen BO September 3rd

Very ligh easterlies to no wind at all in the morning. Later increasing from the SW and very little trapped after 12. Playback on Garden Warbler, Reed Warbler, Aquatic Warbler and Grasshopper Warbler brought a small fall of warblers just after dawn, and the day produced a typical nice selection of early autumn migrants. Nets open 06-16, netmeter hours approx. 3600. Playback on Grey Wagtail, Tree Pipit, Meadow Pipit and Eurasian Nuthatch later in the morning/day. 

Ringed: Green Sandpiper 1, Lesser Spotted Woodpecker 1, Barn Swallow 1, Grey Wagtail 4, Tree Pipit 4, Meadow Pipit 88, Winter Wren 1, Dunnock 1, "Greenland" Wheatear 1, Common Redstart 1, European Robin 1, Grasshopper Warbler 1, Sedge Warbler 1, Reed Warbler 2, Garden Warbler 14, Blackcap 12, Common Whitethroat 1, Willow Warbler 5, Goldcrest 2, Great Tit 1, Eurasian Nuthatch 2, Treecreeper 1, Pied Flycatcher 1, Tree Sparrow 6, Chaffinch 1, Reed Bunting 1. Total = 155. Also 5 controls. 

Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, 1cy female. First this season. 1K F dvergspett.


Observations: Hen Harrier 2cy male, Sparrowhawk 5, Common Kestrel 1, Ruff 50, Great Spotted Woodpecker 2.
